As October quickly approaches, conferences are right around the corner. Attached you will find a conference preference form. Please complete this form and return it as soon as possible. Conferences are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. I will send a confirmation of your conference date and time home as soon as possible. I look forward to speaking with all of you very soon!!
Reading Calendars - Where are they?????
Every month, your child will have a reading calendar to complete. This is a part of the quarter≠s reading grade. The first calendar was sent home on Sept. 1 and should be signed and returned on Oct. 2nd.
Library
Once a week we will go to the library. I will try to make it every Wednesday, as the schedule allows. This is a time for checking out books and also instruction. Mrs. Milliken and I work together to support what we are learning in the classroom. Ask your child about "Library Jeopardy."
Important Dates
Oct. 4 - Early release- 11:35 dismissal
Oct. 9 - Fall recess- No School
Oct. 13 - End of first quarter
Oct. 15-21 - Character Counts Week- more info to come
Oct. 19-20 - Conferences/early release
